The Next Generation of a Meindl Classic
For more than three decades, two Meindl boots defined what serious hunters and hikers expected from their footwear: the Perfekt Hunter and the Perfekt Hiker. They weren't just part of the lineup — they became some of the most trusted boots Meindl ever brought to the U.S. Every mile, every season, every hunt shaped what would come next.
That foundation is the Comfort Fit® PRO Series. Built on the same proven Comfort Fit® last — wider toe box, secure heel hold, cork footbed that molds to your foot over time — but refined with waxed nubuck leather uppers, full protective rands, and construction built to outlast harder use in more demanding country. The PRO designation means more durable materials and a tougher build, without giving up the all-day comfort the Comfort Fit® line is known for.
Three models. One series. Built on legacy, engineered for what's next.
Top questions on the Comfort Fit® PRO Series
The PRO Series is built on the same Comfort Fit® last as the original lineup, so the fit — wider toe box, secure heel hold, cork footbed — is the same proven foundation. The difference is in the upper. PRO models use waxed nubuck leather, which is more durable and weather-resistant than standard nubuck, and adds full protective rands around the boot's perimeter. If you put serious miles on your gear across demanding terrain, the PRO construction holds up where a standard boot would start to show the wear.
The Comfort Fit® PRO Hiker is built for serious off-trail hikers and early-season hunters who cover mixed terrain — it carries a Flex-Use Rating B for natural movement across varied ground. The Comfort Fit® PRO Hunter Uninsulated is Meindl's all-terrain, three-season hunting boot for deer, elk, and upland hunters who push into demanding country. The Comfort Fit® PRO Hunter 300 adds 300g of insulation for cold-weather hunting in November and December conditions. Both hunter models carry a Flex-Use Rating B/C. The choice comes down to how you hunt and the season you're hunting in.
PRO Series boots use waxed nubuck leather, which benefits from regular application of Meindl Sport Wax to condition the leather and maintain its weather resistance. Apply wet proof spray while the upper is still damp after wet-weather use to restore the Gore-Tex® DWR. Avoid high-oil products, which can damage the leather and cause rand separation over time.
