"Our Number 1 pick for warm-weather hunts that don’t require the support of a calf-high hunting boot, and a great selection for pre-season scouting trips. Equally at home spring, summer and fall on everything from run-and-gun turkey hunts to stalking prairie pronghorns to long days chasing September’s bugles. Uninsulated, with tough, nubuck leather uppers and 100% waterproof Gore-Tex linings."
I've tried a lot of different hiking boots over the years, nothing compares to the comfort fit hikers for comfort and durability.
I have owned this boot for a few years, best boot for comfort and fit, I just bought a new pair z few weeks ago, same great fit, I wore them for 9 hours the first day, no pain or blisters, they are second to none as far as quality, fit, and hardly any break in time. Buy these boots and you will have happy feet.
I like that these boots fit me perfectly in size and have enough room in the toe box that I feel “grounded” with my foot. The insole is comfortable to a degree I find the thinner parts under the ball and toes could be softer and after a 5 mile hike was experiencing some discomfort. Other than that I feel they have out preformed every brand of boot I have used for hiking. I like the lacing system I actually had to loosen them mid hike because the boot was able to get too snug haha. Again the Meindl sizing is amazing I typically wear a 12.5 and their size 12 fits perfectly. Most shoe manufacturers do not make a 12.5 shoe size so I am either in a shoe too small or too big, very frustrating.
This is my 4th pair of perfect hikers. I've put thousands of miles hiking and working in your boots. They are simply the best . Never change them!
It's my 10 th pair
At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
