From the very first time you lace these up, you’ll be amazed at the comfort. And after a few steps down the trail, you’ll know you’ve found the perfect hunting or hiking boot for spring, summer or fall. The nubuck leather uppers are soft right out of the box, requiring very little, if any, break-in time. Yet, they’re still tough enough to last for years and years. Backed with full Gore-Tex liners for 100% waterproof protection that still allows perspiration to escape. The Comfort Fit footbeds are crafted from cork that forms to your feet for a custom-like fit, and lined with a light fleece covering for extra comfort and protection. Vibram Comfort Hiker II outsoles have enough grip for sloppy terrain, yet they shed mud and gravel quickly so they won’t slow you down. Also available in men's style Meran Comfort Fit® Light Hiker. Made in Italy

"Even if you never make it off the trail, you still need a good pair of high-perfoming hikers. Whether you wear them every day or just on weekend adventures, these cradle your feet in comfort, while remaining rugged enough for wet or muddy conditions."
Very comfortable right out of the box. Love the wide toe box and cork insole
Absolutely are in love with these hikers! I could tell these were different than any other hikers I’ve tried. Comfortable from the first time you put your foot in the boot., and only better from there!
I love to hike, but have never owned a pair of hiking boots. I usually just wore Nike tennis shoes, but I am getting older and would like more support and to also treat myself to my first pair of hiking boots. My fiance suggested these to me, since he's been wearing the men's version of these for 5+ years. For size reference, I wear size 6 shoes and have extremely wide feet. It can be very difficult to find shoes because of my wide feet. These are so perfect. They are breathable, light-weight, sturdy, and made with quality material and craftsmanship. They are the Louis Vuitton of hiking boots and I am contemplating getting a backup pair so I never have to be without them. I live in Minnesota and enjoy traveling and hiking throughout the USA in different terrain. Thanks Meindl for making quality boots at a reasonable price! Worth EVERY penny!
We want your Meindl footwear to not only fit your feet but also your outdoor lifestyle. No matter where you are or what you are exploring, it is critical your footwear fits properly. Our boots and shoes are constructed using different manufacturing techniques and different lasts (forms) which helps us tailor our boots and shoes to excel in different environments.
The construction technique and last we select to build each style can make that particular boot or shoe fit differently, even within our own line of products, which is why it is important for you to follow our fitting guidelines to get you into the correct size.Because the last and the manufacturing technique we use can change the way our footwear fits, Meindl USA gives guidance for proper fitting on each style we sell. All of our sizing recommendations are based off the Brannock measuring device, which is why it is critical to have your foot measured using that device.
We collectively have decades of experience fitting Meindl footwear to the person and activity, so our fitting guidelines come with the knowledge needed to ensure you get the correct fit.At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
