Meindl may have been born in the mountains, but their roots are also sunk deep along the great walking paths of Europe. That heritage goes into every pair of footwear they make, including these casual walkers. Full grain waxed nubuck leather uppers are backed by 100% waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex. Built around the Comfort Fit concept for a roomy, heel-hugging fit complete with a custom-like cork insole. Meindl Multigrip outsoles are grippy enough for the trail, but cushion against concrete just as well. Also available in a women's style Lady Comfort Fit® Siena Walker. Made in Italy
Category: Casual, Comfort Fit®, Flex-Use Rating A, Gore-Tex®, Men's, Trail, Uninsulated, Walking
If your daily hikes take you up the trail or just down the block to the corner coffee shop, these casual walkers are for you. They’re equally at home in both environments, with the cushioning combination of Multigrip outsole, Comfort Fit insole and shock-absorbing Poron pads in between. Oh, and they’re completely waterproof too, so no worries about wet feet.
Long time user of Meindl boots. Decided to get a casual pair to see if the pedigree filters down to casual use. Was not disappointed! Fantastic fit right out of the box like all my other Meindl boots.
Really nice looking, well constructed with great material. The shoes are a bit on the heavy side but are comfortable when you put them on. I sent the first pair back due to being to big, order down a full size after measuring your foot! I will tell you more about how I like the shoe after they have been worn a while! Greg R
I purchased my first pair of Comfort Fit walkers from Cabelas on the clearance rack. Thought well, I've done dumber things. This pair of shoes ended up being my favorite pair of shoes of all time. I wore them in all conditions from deep snow, to mud, water, and sun. I was never able to believe how well they stood up. They were so worn that when I went to get another pair, I couldn't find the brand. Then I finally remembered meind... I found them, but at the time they were sold out. Soooo. I waited. Very well worth the wait.
Its my 4th pair, the first 2 pair came from Cabelas and the last 2 direct from Meindl.
Wear in a machine shop every day, the soles last about 2 years. The uppers look as good
as the new ones after 2 days.
Top Quality. Excellent Walker.
We want your Meindl footwear to not only fit your feet but also your outdoor lifestyle. No matter where you are or what you are exploring, it is critical your footwear fits properly. Our boots and shoes are constructed using different manufacturing techniques and different lasts (forms) which helps us tailor our boots and shoes to excel in different environments.
The construction technique and last we select to build each style can make that particular boot or shoe fit differently, even within our own line of products, which is why it is important for you to follow our fitting guidelines to get you into the correct size.Because the last and the manufacturing technique we use can change the way our footwear fits, Meindl USA gives guidance for proper fitting on each style we sell. All of our sizing recommendations are based off the Brannock measuring device, which is why it is critical to have your foot measured using that device.
We collectively have decades of experience fitting Meindl footwear to the person and activity, so our fitting guidelines come with the knowledge needed to ensure you get the correct fit.At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
