Air Revolution® boots use suede leather uppers rather than the full-grain leather found on most other Meindl models. Suede is lighter and more immediately flexible, which means less break-in time and a more athletic feel on trail. The tradeoff is that suede requires different care — use a suede-specific conditioner and waterproof spray rather than Meindl Sport Wax, which is formulated for full-grain leather only.
Meindl boots run large — we recommend sizing down a half size from what you normally wear. Every product page includes specific sizing guidance for that boot, and you can also use our Perfect Fit tool to dial in your Meindl size before you buy.
Because Air Revolution® boots use suede leather, do not apply Meindl Sport Wax — that product is for full-grain leather only.
