The word "Alpine" has come to mean anything relating to high mountains but its source is actually the Alps, the highest and most extensive European mountain range, so extensive it crosses eight European countries, including Germany the birthplace of Meindl Boots. So when Meindl designed our Alpine Series, we crafted them with the spirit of the Alps in every component and every hand-crafted stitch, a true testament to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance and durability.

Designed for serious mountain pursuits where every step matters, our Alpine Series features our exclusive Air Revolution® technology which is an ingenious climate-control system that with every step allows warm air to leave the boot while letting in cool air to efficiently ventilate and comfort your feet. The waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® liner works in concert with Air Revolution® to maximize moisture control, letting perspiration vapor escape but keeping out precipitation, whether rain, snow, dew, or whatever form of moisture Mother Nature throws at you. Additional walking comfort comes from Meindl's Air-Active insole that provides a cushioned moisture-managing footbed that wicks perspiration away from your feet while distributing your weight across the entire foot, which helps eliminate hotspots and sore feet. Our Alpine Series, in three distinct models, are the result of Meindl's 300-year history of German engineering excellence and embodies the essence of Alpine adventure. Rooted in the rugged terrain and rich heritage of the Bavarian Alps, each pair seamlessly blends world-leading boot-making technology, precision engineering, Meindl family tradition and handcrafted construction.

Air Revolution® Alpine Pro 200

These are our most technically advanced mountain boots built for hardcore alpine adventures, rated C on our Flex-Use Rating System, meaning they are made for high country with challenging terrain including rocks, scree and glaciers, in short, the bad stuff, the type of terrain you're likely to encounter in extreme alpine areas. These 9-inch mountain boots feature Gore Insulation for warmth without adding unnecessary weight. They also feature Vibram® Multigrip 3 Alpine outsoles for traction and stability on just that type of terrain. Our ball-bearing eyelets let you easily lace them to your personal preference for a customized fit. Like them laced tight, medium, loose or a combination? These are easily customizable.

Air Revolution® Alpine 4.1 Hiker

All the hand-crafted high-tech construction, comfort, durability and waterproof, breathable moisture-control features of our Alpine Series packed into 7.5-inch hiking boots designed for challenging terrain and conditions encountered on multi-day backcountry hunts where there are rough or absolutely no trails, and likely to be uneven terrain, steep inclines, scree fields, and boulders requiring hard going up to and including climbing and scrambling. Rated B/C in our Flex-Use Rating System, they provide stability and support, ideal for carrying heavy loads over challenging conditions. Our Vibram® Multigrip 3 outsoles provide a stable, reliable walking platform in a variety of backcountry terrains. Ball-bearing eyelets let you quickly and easily customize the fit, and adjust to how your feet are feeling throughout the day.

Air Revolution® Alpine 1.5 Light Hiker

These 7.5-inch boots are built for hunting, hiking, trekking, and any kind of foot-traffic in moderate conditions such as trails, paths, and even off-the-beaten path areas. Think hunting in moderate terrain, day hikes and trekking with light loads; you'll find plenty of occasions to wear them. Rated A/B in our Flex-Use Rating System, they offer great walking support and comfort in a range of conditions. They have the same hand-crafted construction, high-tech components and moisture-control, waterproof, breathable comfort features as all our Alpine Series boots with Vibram® cleats Grip outsoles for traction and stability.
