The same expertise and technology Meindl® puts in its hardcore mountaineering, hunting and hiking socks goes into these hiking/everyday socks. Great for light hiking and wearing around town and country these socks are designed and built like all our socks, with Meindl's legendary quality, craftsmanship and materials. These 7" tall 1.75mm thick 1.8 ounce socks are made with polyamide, high-performance polymer, blended with our favorite sock material, Merino wool, which brings its natural moisture-wicking, odor-absorbing, temperature-regulating characteristics. Woven with the wool into a two-layer construction are advanced bio ceramic yarns which provide additional insulation and temperature regulation. And these socks are anatomically designed to the natural shape of your right and left feet so there's no extra fabric to wad up and cause blister-causing hot spots. Plus, they are marked right and left to prevent early-morning confusion. The soles are cushioned and the heel and toe areas reinforced to add comfort and durability. The crew style fits better in the spring and summer months (and early fall), with the perfect amount of stretch to keep your sock in place throughout your active day.
49% Polyamide; 28% Merino wool; 20% polypropylene; and 3% elastane for a bit of stretch.
Sizes: Large (8-10.5), Extra Large (11-14)

Light and comfortable, time will tell how they hold up.
Great even in warmer weather.
Super comfy, warm (not hot), cool (not cold), perfect length.
More like an ankle sock.. Not what I expected. But still a good sock.
I have 4 pair of these socks. Very well made, fit is excellent. I have the size Large, which is perfect for me.
My U.S. shoe size is 9.5, my Meindl comfort fit walkers are 8.5, & they fit perfectly. I also like that the socks are made specifically for the left & right foot. Everything I have purchased from Meindl is excellent!
