The PRO designation starts with the upper. Waxed full grain nubuck leather is more durable and weather-resistant than standard nubuck, standing up to brush, rock, and the kind of day-in, day-out use that serious hunters put on their gear. Combined with the Comfort Fit last, designed for a wider, more accommodating fit that reduces long-term fatigue, this is a boot built to perform now and hold up for seasons to come.

Gore-Tex® waterproof lining keeps your feet dry in wet grass, rain, and creek crossings without compromising breathability during active hunting. DiGAfix® lacing wraps your ankle securely so you stay focused on the hunt instead of adjusting your boots, and the Vibram® outsole delivers dependable grip across the unpredictable mix of terrain that all-terrain hunting actually means.

At 9.25 inches with a medium-stiff B/C flex rating and a cork insole built for long-term comfort, the Comfort Fit PRO Hunter Uninsulated is handcrafted in Germany with Meindl's commitment to quality that has defined the brand for over 300 years. Non-insulated and purpose-built for hunters who demand more from their footwear.

The Comfort Fit Hunter is built for upland hunting through to mountain terrain, offering a supportive, structured feel designed for long days in the field without added insulation. From the first wear, expect a firm but controlled fit through the midfoot and heel as the nubuck leather and internal structure begin responding to your foot and movement.

Begin by wearing the boots indoors to confirm fit, sock choice, and lacing tension—ensuring a secure but comfortable hold before heading outside. Once the fit feels consistent, transition into short walks on flat ground to allow the boot to begin flexing naturally and to start identifying any early pressure points.

From there, progress into uneven terrain and longer outings, gradually increasing distance and time on foot as the boot begins to settle. The nubuck leather will soften in key flex zones, allowing the upper to become more responsive while maintaining structure. The cork insole will also gradually conform to your foot, improving underfoot comfort and creating a more personalized feel over time.

With continued wear, the DiGAfix system improves heel stability under movement, while the overall fit becomes more refined and responsive across varied terrain. The result is a dependable hunting boot that transitions from a structured first feel into a stable, comfortable platform built for extended use from upland ground to the mountains.

Nubuck leather benefits from consistent care to preserve its durability, breathable structure, and water-resistant performance over time. After use, allow the boots to dry naturally before removing surface dirt with a soft brush to keep the leather clean and ready for treatment.

Once prepared, apply the Meindl Wet Proof Spray evenly across the entire upper, ensuring full but light coverage so the treatment can absorb properly into the material. Allow the boots to dry completely before moving to the next step.

After drying, apply Meindl Sport Wax to the leather, tongue, and eyelets. Work the wax gently into the leather to reinforce protection while maintaining flexibility and comfort under movement.

This combination of spray and wax helps maintain the balance between weather resistance, breathability and long-term durability, keeping the leather performing consistently through regular use in varied conditions.
