Equally comfortable during everyday activities as they are on hiking trails, these uninsulated boots feature Meindl's Comfort Fit® technology. The Veneto is handcrafted on an anatomically correct last to better fit the natural shape of your feet. Comfort Fit® technology also provides more room in the toe box and more width at the ball of the foot, mirroring the natural foot shape. The Comfort Fit® footbed is made of silicone impregnated moldable cork and comfortable fleece, a combination that conforms to the shape of your feet and wicks away excess moisture. Protection from the elements comes from the durable full grain waxed nubuck leather uppers and 100-percent waterproof Gore-Tex® lining which assures no water gets in, but perspiration vapor can get out. The Multigrip outsole provides reliable traction and a stable walking platform. Made in Italy

"The perfect lightweight, comfortable hiker for those light hikes or for your everyday casual use, these check all the boxes to get you through the day. Made with moldable Comfort Fit cork insoles, the Meindl Multigrip outsole, and being waterproof these will keep you feeling comfortable all day."
I started wearing Meindl boots about 15 years ago. I love the way you can simply put them on and have them feel comfortable without needing a "break-in" time.
Great shoe!
Good everyday shoe, wear for around the house, walking the dog on pavement, yardwork. Exactly what Meindl says it is for. Not a trail shoe for me, having to order one size down (normal a 13 so got a 12) makes my big toes just barely touch the front. Not an issue for daily wear but on a trail with elevation change I don't think my toes would appreciate it at the end of a day! Have worn Meindl for about 17 years now start with the "Alaskan Hiker" from Cabelas, several pair of Comfort Fit Hikers, two pair of Light Hikers and one pair of Walkers. I prefer the Chuckka over the walkers due the higher fit on the foot. Obviously if I have used them all these years I am a fan of Meindl boots. Live in Northern Arkansas (Ozarks) so trails are rough and have lot's of up and down. Pick the right flex and Meindle boots will handle it.
Not as good as I expected
Great fit. Good service.
We want your Meindl footwear to not only fit your feet but also your outdoor lifestyle. No matter where you are or what you are exploring, it is critical your footwear fits properly. Our boots and shoes are constructed using different manufacturing techniques and different lasts (forms) which helps us tailor our boots and shoes to excel in different environments.
The construction technique and last we select to build each style can make that particular boot or shoe fit differently, even within our own line of products, which is why it is important for you to follow our fitting guidelines to get you into the correct size.Because the last and the manufacturing technique we use can change the way our footwear fits, Meindl USA gives guidance for proper fitting on each style we sell. All of our sizing recommendations are based off the Brannock measuring device, which is why it is critical to have your foot measured using that device.
We collectively have decades of experience fitting Meindl footwear to the person and activity, so our fitting guidelines come with the knowledge needed to ensure you get the correct fit.At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
