Review Meindl's size guide below to identify the correct size of boot for your feet.

Meindl's warmest hunting boot for late-season deer hunters, cold-weather elk hunters, and serious cold-climate hunters who face sub-zero temperatures and need maximum insulation and full-coverage protection to stay in the field.

Some hunts are defined by the cold. Late-season whitetail sits where the temperature before daylight is brutal. High-latitude hunts where staying warm isn't optional. Cold-weather elk country where the season runs deep into winter and the conditions test your gear as much as your patience. The Kibo GTX Hunter 300 was built for those hunts. Meindl's warmest insulated hunting boot, designed to keep you in the field when lesser boots would have you headed back to camp.

Gore® Air Fiber insulation delivers serious warmth without excessive bulk, and the winter insole adds another layer of cold-weather protection underfoot. The area where heat loss starts and where most boots fall short in extreme conditions. Combined in a 10-inch boot with a tall collar that keeps cold air and debris out, the Kibo GTX Hunter 300 provides the full-coverage warmth that cold-climate hunters need.

The suede leather upper is tough, durable, and built to handle the abrasive conditions that cold-weather hunting environments consistently deliver. Frozen brush, rocky winter ground, the wear of a hard season. Gore-Tex® waterproof lining ensures your feet stay dry across snow, wet terrain, and the variable moisture conditions that come with hunting in cold, demanding climates. The Meindl Rock outsole provides reliable grip and stability across icy and uneven ground.

Built on a standard last with a B/C medium-stiff flex rating and handcrafted in Germany to Meindl's highest standards, the Kibo GTX Hunter 300 is the boot you reach for when the forecast is brutal and you're hunting anyway. Because that's what serious cold-weather hunters do.

"Serious high-country hunts demand peak performance from both man and his gear. Whether your postholing through December’s snowy dark timber for a last-minute elk or climbing into the clouds after spiral-horned sheep and ivory mountain goats, you can count on the Kibos to get you there and back."

    1.5 Year Review

I’ve had my Kibo GTX Hunter 300 for 2 winters now. Below is the good and bad.

    Good:

    -Great fit

    -Extremely Comfortable

-Warm (I always wear heavy smartwool socks with them and foot warmers when temp drops below -5 F

    - Great grip if the air temp is above zero F

-Durable! Lot of miles and very little sign of wear

    Bad:

Soles become like ice skates when the air temps drop below -5 F! I mean they become stiff and very slippery on ice, smooth concrete, wood decking… had a pretty good black eye to show the results of hitting a snow covered patch of ice when the temp was about -15 F.
