The Good- after years of raving about The Meindl Light Hiker (quality, performance, longevity) I convinced my fiancé to try on a few pair of their women’s offerings. I ordered the comfort fit, hiker, and Kansas models for women. At least the order and shows expressed delivery. However, after seven days, they still had not arrived, and I received an email that they were in transit to the other side of the country. I reached out and spoke with Sam in customer service and explain to him that I had been waiting on the boots for a trip that we were taking and was hoping to have my fiancé try and wear them around the house until she decided which one fit better. He was incredibly apologetic and responded in a matter of hours as to the whereabouts of the boots. He refunded the expedited shipping right away and offered to ship out two more pair if I had not received the original order within two days. Thankfully, the order came within the next two days. During our conversation, I expressed concern that the women’s boots may not work for her and if you could possibly recommend a size for the men’s Light hiker, but I would order that as well for her to try on. He recommended the Light hiker in a size 7, and Waived the shipping fee for today air so that I would be able to receive the boots and she could try all three pair on to decide prior to our trip.
