Sizing Guidelines

"Our Number 1 pick for warm-weather hunts that don’t require the support of a calf-high hunting boot, and a great selection for pre-season scouting trips. Equally at home spring, summer and fall on everything from run-and-gun turkey hunts to stalking prairie pronghorns to long days chasing September’s bugles. Uninsulated, with tough, nubuck leather uppers and 100% waterproof Gore-Tex linings."

    Name is appropriate

Awesome fit from the first use and it just keeps getting better. Now have 100+ miles on them.

Looks like they will last a good while.

    Pretty darn comfortable.

Definitely comfortable. I was told there was not a wide version in my size, then when I went to order a month later there it was on the website. So I ordered it in the wide size. It seems that the soul is the same size but there is more leather for the foot portion of the boot. To much really, the boot looks a little ballooned. This doesn’t really bother me because it’s a great boot over all so far. But time will tell.

    Found them again!

I had been wearing these boots 6 days a week, for 10 years. I was disappointed that I was not able to find them for the past couple of years and had to wear other work boots. Imagine my delight when I was recently able to find them from the Nebraska location. They are by far the most comfortable boot that I have ever worn. Please don't ever stop making them. Definitely worth the money!

    Best Boots I've Owned

I've owned a number of "high-end" (won't shame other brands) boots in the $250-$400 range. I have both the Comfort Fit Hiker (7.25"), and the Comfort Fit Extreme's (11") versions. Without hesitation, I can say both are the best boots I've owned, and definitely the most comfortable. I hike, walk and traverse some pretty tough terrain in MT, ID, WY, etc. These hikers are just as comfy walking around a flat park or shopping mall as they on a 30deg assent over downfall trees, muddy creeks, and soaking wet prairies. Keep them waxed, keep fresh comfort-fit inserts in them, replace the laces yearly, and you're go-to-go. I could not ask more from a high performance boot.

    Comfort Fit Hikers

My 3rd pair of Meindl boots. They fit great and no need to break them in.
