These are the perfect insulated hunting boots to get you through the entire season, from opening day all the way to that first winter blizzard. The mid-height nubuck uppers provide plenty of ankle support for packing heavy loads, yet still flex with each step. Gore-Tex lined for 100% waterproof protection. Built on the Comfort Fit last, these boots have more room in the toebox, and cup the heels snugly for a near-custom fit and feel. Meindl’s exclusive cork footbeds mold to the hunter’s feet for custom support. Inside, 400-gram Primaloft Gold insulation wards off the chill. Vibram designed all-new, proprietary Multigrip 6.0 outsoles with aggressive, terrain-grabbing tread and improved lug design that keeps you upright on difficult descents. Also available in an uninsulated model. Made in Germany

Great boots and great customer service
Great
I recently had a SON and Father Hunt, that means I'm getting old. Hunt of a lift time. More thought went in to preparation that normal being its the first northern wilderness hunt. We researched and bought quality clothing and Boots were obviously very important. I decided on Meindl Comfort Fit Hunter 400. Received them along with the socks. My son tried them on and ask me to order the exact same for him. Five 12 hr days Hunts later it was evident these boots were everything we expected and more. Very High Quality mid to early late season boots. And comfortable enough for upland hunting.
Just purchased the comfort Fit Hunter 400 for an upcoming trip this November. So far the comfort and quality seem awesome. Although I haven't really hunted with them the break in period is almost non-existent. The were comfortable right out of the box. I'll update my review after my Adirondack Mountains hunt.
Much better than the hiking boots I bought last year. Last year I ordered a half size less and they are too tight too where these I ordered to fit and they do plus I can probably wear a thicker sock with these
At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
