Review Meindl's size guide below to identify the correct size of boot for your feet.

Ultimate all-terrain boot

When your plans take you into the roughest backcountry or on a multi-day backpacking adventure where there will be challenging terrain and obstacles, use enough boot. These uninsulated mountain boots are constructed to get you there and back without you having to worry about your feet. Construction starts with full grain, nubuck leather uppers that provide a high level of support and are backed by waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® to keep moisture out while allowing perspiration vapor to escape. (Gore-Tex® Stretch lines the heel area without any blister - or hot spot-causing seams.) Internal protection comes from the MFS® (Memory Foam System) that wraps your entire foot in a cushioning custom-like fit. There's also an Air Active® Insole that provides a cushioned moisture-managing footbed that wicks perspiration away from your feet and distributes weight across the entire foot. Another thing we like in these hardcore hikers is the DiGAfix® lacing system that snugs the upper around your instep without creating pressure points, plus it locks your heel in place so there's not friction-and blister-causing hotspots. Traction comes from the Meindl-exclusive Vibram® Multigriff Alpin rigid rubber grip outsole that provides a stable, secure walking platform, especially on the difficult terrain, thanks to aggressive, multi-directional lugs that grab and grip even on uneven terrain and in difficult conditions. These are all-terrain, four season hikers, fully capable of taking on the worst conditions. And they are crampon compatible if the going gets even tougher. Also available in a women's style Lady Himalaya MFS®Made in Germany

    Happy Owner

To early to tell anything about the new boot. I haven't worn these other than around the house. I have owned 2 pairs of Meindl Tetons and loved them. I have recommended Meindl to other hunters and they loved them as well. These new boots appear to follow the same sizing as the old ones. I prefer to try boots on before purchasing, so I am happy that these seem to follow the old sizes. For me, I enjoy a boot with fewest stitching possible. Stitching wears out much quicker than leather. I don't have ankle problems but enjoy a boot that is a little taller for ankle support. My Meindl boots have held up better than any other brand boot I have owned. This boot meets those qualifications.

    Leatherhead

Very stout, yet not so bad that you cant walk around. Slightly less roll than the kibbos but thatll probably come with breaking them in. Another great boot for the money from meindl.

    Another Top Notch Meindl Boot!

Out of the box, put them on to make sure sizing was right. Same size as my others.

Did the preserving technology Meindl tells you to do to keep the boots healthy.

Then did a short hike (15 miles) on the A.T. here in Maine and felt like I had wore then through a month-long break-in period.

    Great Boots!
