"Consider these your daily drivers. Whether you’re working around the yard or heading out for a hike, you can depend on them for a comfortable fit and casual appearance. Plus, they deliver on the trail as well, with flexible insoles and roomy toe box that doesn’t bind or bunch your feet heading uphill or down."

I’ve worn Meindl boots for 30 years and have never had a bad pair. They fit my feet great and have always been very comfortable with minimal break in time. I recommend them highly and would never buy any other brand .
I have owned 6 pairs of Meindl boots and shoes.
I am still using 5 pair of them. This time frame covers 20 years.
They are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned.
They look good and are very durable.
I am thinking about buying another pair of boots. If I do, they will be Meindls.
I hike 750- 1000 miles a year so I buy a new pair every year. With each new pair my feet feel like they have come home again!
These are my third pair of Meindls in the last six years and I will be clear are three pairs have different uses. So yes, all three are pretty active with this newest pair getting broke in. These are great boots and I am thankful I was able to get them in wide thus allowing for the best fit to my feet. I have not yet challenged them to harsh terrain but I know they will crush anything in front of them like the other Meindls. This particular pair will be my all purpose hiking boots. As always, a solid product.
Comfort fit is excellent. Isn't quite as secure as my old Lowa's which I loved for years but can no longer wear at 64 years old because of the standard toe box. With comfort fit you don't look like you've got a platypus face for a shoe and yet, space in the box. Endured left pinky toe pain for years, just lived with it. Gone now. What a relief. I wear a 14 in everything but 13 in this model is perfect length. I'd definitely recommend a full size down. Also happy to see only one fast lace hook. Those things can be a pain but having only one is perfect. I have a narrow foot so they are slightly wide on me but I'd say they run true to size on width.

At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
