Meindl may have been born in the mountains, but their roots are also sunk deep along the great walking paths of Europe. That heritage goes into every pair of footwear they make, including these casual walkers. Full grain waxed nubuck leather uppers are backed by 100% waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex. Built around the Comfort Fit concept for a roomy, heel-hugging fit complete with a custom-like cork insole. Meindl Multigrip outsoles are grippy enough for the trail, but cushion against concrete just as well. Also available in a women's style Lady Comfort Fit® Siena Walker. Made in Italy
If your daily hikes take you up the trail or just down the block to the corner coffee shop, these casual walkers are for you. They’re equally at home in both environments, with the cushioning combination of Multigrip outsole, Comfort Fit insole and shock-absorbing Poron pads in between. Oh, and they’re completely waterproof too, so no worries about wet feet.
Great . Love it. I wear 10.5 extra wide usually and this nails it in the same size. Great for light hikes and steep slopes and walking the dogs in wet and muddy conditions.
I just received my third pair of Comfort Fit Walkers. The first pair dates back 15+ years ago to when I purchased a pair of Cabela's Walkers without realizing they were made by Meindl. I wore that first pair for over ten years! I "discovered" Meindl and purchased two pairs of their Comfort Fit Walkers. They are extremely well made and last! Replace the insoles with Meindl product occassionally and have a "new pair of shoes." Sizing - I have a wide foot across the widest part and have problems getting shoes to fit correctly and too often made the mistake of getting a longer shoe to get a comfortable width; that's a mistake to avoid. You can use Meindl's recommendation to size down 1/2 and have a great fit and don't hesitate to get their "EE" width to accomodate a wider foot. I have to call these a GREAT casual leather shoe that can be worn in any weather. I'm going to start searching Meindl for a hiking boot; they have a wide selection; I'll bet they fit fantastic and will be comfortable out of the box.
I've always struggled with a painful foot condition that makes finding supportive footwear a challenge. Even the slightest discomfort can ruin a whole day, but the Meindl Comfort Fit® Walker has been a true savior.
The "Comfort Fit" lives up to its name. From the generous toe box to the secure heel cup, these boots feel like they were custom-made for my feet. The cork insole is incredibly supportive and molds to my foot shape, providing the perfect balance of cushioning and stability. It's like walking on clouds, even after hours on my feet!
I've put these boots to the test on all kinds of terrain, from city streets to rugged farm trails and even the uneven ground at the shooting range. The flexible sole and excellent traction give me confidence on every step, and I've noticed a significant decrease in foot pain even after long days.
If you suffer from any type of foot discomfort, I highly recommend giving the Meindl Comfort Fit® Walker a try. They're truly the most comfortable and supportive boots I've ever owned, allowing me to enjoy walking and outdoor activities again without worrying about pain.
These Comfort fit walking shoes live up to their name! They are exactly what I expected, as they are designed with a wide front for foot expansion!
excellent!
At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
