Meindl MT2 Lightweight Hiking Socks are fantastic!
I was looking for a really good hike sock that isn't heavy or thick. These MT2 have really fit the bill. While out on the trail, my feet heat-up quickly and the discomfort of it irritates the heck out of me, turning an otherwise good day into an irritable/uncomfortable one. Thus far, I'm very pleased with the MT2 sock, as they're both lightweight and and my feet aren't overheating in a matter of 50 yards on the trail. I'm starting to notice that whatever I buy from Meindl turns out to be a good investment.

Worked great in summer conditions
I was getting heat rash when hunting in TX summer conditions (90+F) wearing my uninsulated gortex hunting boots with snake garters and other name brand socks. All my Meindl socks have worked great but were MT6s and warmer for Fall and Winter hunting. Thus, I decided to try Meindl's new MT2 Lightweight Hiking Socks. I was pleased when I first got them but wanted to get several hunts in before I left any feedback. These have done the trick for me and I have not had any heat rash since. Now I have Meindle socks to cover all that mother nature offers.
