A lightweight insulated winter hiking pac boot for cold-weather hikers who want Gore-Tex® waterproofing, Gore® insulation, and winter felt sole ground insulation in a more agile, trail-capable package than traditional heavy winter boots provide.
The Lillehammer GTX Winter Pac Boot was built for cold-weather hikers who want serious warmth and waterproofing without carrying the weight of a heavy winter boot. Lightweight confidence in cold is exactly the right description. This is a winter pac boot that delivers genuine cold-weather performance in a package agile enough to actually hike in.
The winter felt sole is the detail that makes the Lillehammer GTX stand apart from waterproof hiking boots pressed into winter service. Felt sole construction insulates from the ground up, addressing one of the most consistent sources of cold-weather foot discomfort that standard boot outsoles ignore. Combined with Gore® insulation and Gore-Tex® waterproof lining, the Lillehammer provides warmth from every direction. Above, below, and all around.
The Vibram® outsole delivers dependable traction on packed snow, winter trail, and the mixed cold-weather surfaces that serious winter hikers navigate. The 8-inch nubuck leather upper provides the coverage and weather resistance that cold conditions demand. Built on a standard last with an ultra-light A flex rating for natural movement on trail and handcrafted in Germany to Meindl's exacting standards, the Lillehammer GTX is the right choice for cold-weather hikers who want warmth, waterproofing, and the ability to actually move in their winter boots.

Great boot and great service.

At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
