You've heard of EDC, meaning everyday carry, the essentials you don't leave home without. Well, these are everyday boots. Think upland, pronghorn, mule deer, tree stand hunting and more. Trail, off-trail, rocky, grassy, timbered, open, dry, wet, snowy - these are your boots. And the fact they deliver on the promise of light weight (only 3 lbs. per pair for the uninsulated version.) adds to their every-day, every-season, every-hunt appeal. You've heard, and felt during long days in the field, that every ounce on your feet is like carrying an extra pound on your back. Meindl takes that to heart. Looking at EuroLights in the box, you don't expect such full-featured boots to be so light. And if they're surprisingly light in your hands, wait 'till you lace them on your feet. Light but tough, they feature 9" waxed full-grain Nubuck leather uppers (and reinforced toe cap) to stand up to use and abuse in the gamut of field conditions. A Gore-Tex® waterproof, breathable liner keeps water out but lets perspiration vapor escape. Flex-Zone Venting, a series of strategically placed vents in the forefoot, allows the boot to breathe and move naturally with your feet. Flex-Zone in the Achilles areas enhances your natural stepping motion while a high-performance polyurethane midsole and Air Active insoles provides cushioning and support. And you'll appreciate the over-sized gusset that opens wide for easy on and off; no more struggling to pull them on at the start or kick them off at the end of the day. The Meindl Duo-DUR III Sole, with aggressive multi-directional lugs, provides traction and stable footing on a variety of terrain types. Featuring 300 grams of high-performance GTX Air Fibre® insulation, adding warmth without taking on unnecessary weight. Every day, every man, every woman - these are your boots. Also available in an uninsulated and women's model. Made In Europe.

"Meindl EuroLight Hunter 300-gram Insulated boots will be the perfect hunting boots to keep you comfortable no matter the elements. There my first choice for the hunts when the weather can be unpredictable. Lightweight, flexible and allow me to move from knee-deep snow predator hunting, to upland hunting, pronghorn hunting, and much more."
I bought the boots for my grandson and he absolutely loves them he compared them to a pair of Nike shoes and will not wear anything else because n the field. No more Mck boots
It snowed today temp was 12 degrees with wool socks and foot warmers my feet were dry all day
I hunt and footwear is probably the most overlooked investment. These are the most comfortable, yet sturdy boot I have ever owned. Super light, Gore-Tex waterproof liner, and nicely insulated...not too much and not too little. I ordered the insulated version but will be ordering another pair very soon of the uninsulated. I am diabetic and my feet are a bit sensitive, but these have a great toe-box, no hot spots from the eyelets, great ankle support, the large, gusseted tongue allows my high arches to get in the boot effortlessly and fit like they were perfectly molded for my feet. The insert says this boot was the result of 3 years of development and testing and it shows.
As far as size, and everyone's feet are different, Meindl recommends ordering a half-size smaller which as far as my feet are concerned, would have made them too small. All my other boots are a size 11 so I ordered size 11 and length was perfect. I started with a regular width but decided to exchange for the wide with to better accommodate the layers of socks I usually wear while hunting and in our cold MN winters. The exchange was painless and customer service was outstanding, though I wish they could process exchanges a bit quicker...I was just excited to get them on my feet :).
These will undoubtedly be my go-to boot this winter and every hunting season going forward. I don't usually write reviews, but these boots definitely deserve an applause.
The boots are light but very stable. Great boot for upland game hunting.
Super comfortable!!
We want your Meindl footwear to not only fit your feet but also your outdoor lifestyle. No matter where you are or what you are exploring, it is critical your footwear fits properly. Our boots and shoes are constructed using different manufacturing techniques and different lasts (forms) which helps us tailor our boots and shoes to excel in different environments.
The construction technique and last we select to build each style can make that particular boot or shoe fit differently, even within our own line of products, which is why it is important for you to follow our fitting guidelines to get you into the correct size.Because the last and the manufacturing technique we use can change the way our footwear fits, Meindl USA gives guidance for proper fitting on each style we sell. All of our sizing recommendations are based off the Brannock measuring device, which is why it is critical to have your foot measured using that device.
We collectively have decades of experience fitting Meindl footwear to the person and activity, so our fitting guidelines come with the knowledge needed to ensure you get the correct fit.At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
