Meindl's Best Selling Go-Anywhere Uninsulated Hunting Boot

Thanks to an innovative boot-within-a-boot design, these high-country mountain hunting boots wrap your feet stabilizing comfort. Inside the full grain nubuck leather uppers, MFS Vakuum foam panels form to the shape of your feet, ensuring a perfect fit without uncomfortably tights pressure points common in lesser-made technical boots. Special stretch Gore-Tex, waterproof linings do away with standard heal seams, eliminating yet another potential blister-forming hot spot. Between the Air-Active insoles and gripping Vibram Alpin outsoles, polyurethane midsoles push you through each step while allowing for the addition of soft crampons. Also available in a women's style Lady Vakuum® GTXMade in Germany

"Vakuum Hunter boots will carry you to the top of the mountain in all but the most difficult terrain. While the stiff uppers provide maximum ankle support when climbing, the inner reticulated foam booties deliver a solid, foot-gripping fit and feel for comfort and stability. Uninsulated, yet fully waterproof, they’re a solid choice for high-country hunts that could take you well past the timberline and into the rocks above."

    Fantastic boots. 2nd pair

These boots would get 6 stars. Took 9 years of abuse to wear out my first pair. I have worn them in Colorado Alpine archery elk hunting, rugged Alaska mountains for bear and Tundra for caribou, Montana elk and mule deer and all over the south chasing deer in the mountains. I have tried kennetreck, keens, and several others and these are the best Iv found. You have to break them in for a few trips to get the footbed settled, but after that they are golden.

They have fantastic ankle support, like you’re wearing a full ankle brace. The foot is also stiff enough you can climb hills with your toes, and carry heavy loads without hurting.

Believe the reviews, these are excellent boots!

I chose these after extensive searching and fittings; my second pair of Meindl (*******). Great fit with a wide forefoot and snug overall fit. While comfortable out of the box I managed about eight miles of break in hikes prior to opening day of deer season in the Pacific Northwest. Three days of 19000 steps and the equivalent of 110 flights of stairs in heavy rain and some snow on and off trail - the boots were never a thought until I took them off at the end of the day. My feet stayed dry and comfortable with no loose spots, hot spots, or loose laces. Comfortable, sturdy, and dry. Very happy with these boots.
