Heritage in every pair

Meindl may have been born in the mountains, but their roots are also sunk deep along the great walking paths of Europe. That heritage goes into every pair of footwear they make, including these casual walkers. Full grain waxed nubuck leather uppers are backed by 100% waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex. Built around the Comfort Fit concept for a roomy, heel-hugging fit complete with a custom-like cork insole. Meindl Multigrip outsoles are grippy enough for the trail, but cushion against concrete just as well. Also available in a women's style Lady Comfort Fit® Siena Walker. Made in Italy.

No intentionally added PFAS chemicals.

If your daily hikes take you up the trail or just down the block to the corner coffee shop, these casual walkers are for you. They’re equally at home in both environments, with the cushioning combination of Multigrip outsole, Comfort Fit insole and shock-absorbing Poron pads in between. Oh, and they’re completely waterproof too, so no worries about wet feet.

    The Most Comfortable and Stable Walking Shoe I’ve Ever Owned

    I’ve worn a lot of walking and athletic shoes over the years, but the Comfort Fit® Walker is in a completely different league when it comes to comfort, stability, and all-day support. From the very first time I put them on, the fit felt secure without being restrictive, and the cushioning is exceptional—especially for long days on my feet.

    What truly stands out is the stability. Whether I’m walking for exercise, spending hours moving between appointments, or simply staying active throughout the day, these shoes provide a confident, balanced feel that reduces fatigue and keeps my feet comfortable mile after mile. The support through the heel and arch is outstanding, and the overall design inspires confidence on a variety of surfaces.

    Another major advantage is how well they combine function with comfort. Many supportive walking shoes feel bulky or stiff, but the Comfort Fit Walker manages to feel lightweight, supportive, and incredibly natural at the same time.

    Simply put, this is the most comfortable and stable shoe I have ever worn. If you are looking for a walking shoe that delivers premium comfort, excellent support, and true all-day wearability, I highly recommend the Comfort Fit Walker. It has genuinely exceeded my expectations.
