The Comfort Fit® Power Walker 4.2 Mid is a versatile, sport-oriented hiking boot designed for everyday walking, light hiking, and active outdoor use. Built with a breathable mesh knit upper and Gore-Tex® waterproof protection, these hiking boots keep your feet dry in wet conditions while maintaining a comfortable internal climate for all-day wear. The Comfort Fit® last is engineered for a more natural foot position, offering extra room in the forefoot and a straighter alignment of the big toe. This promotes a more natural rolling motion and reduces pressure points, making these hiking boots ideal for longer distances and frequent use. Designed with A Flex-Use construction, the Power Walker 4.2 Mid transitions easily between paved paths and light trails, delivering reliable versatility for active days. Inside, the Comfort Fit® Sport insole works with the EVA midsole to provide a lightweight cushioning and consistent comfort every step. The mid-cut design adds supportive stability around the ankle without limiting mobility, while the overall fit is tailored to deliver a secure heel hold and balanced stride. The Power Walker 4.2 Mid is built to keep you moving comfortably across every surface of your day. Made in Vietnam.

At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
