The Super Perfekt stands as a tribute to Meindl's centuries-old tradition of precision boot making. Built in the classical form and held to uncompromising standards, this boot reflects the kind of craftsmanship that's nearly vanished in modern footwear. Every detail is intentional. The upper is crafted from a single piece of military-grade cowhide - seamless across the front for strength, with a single rear seam protected by a rugged leather overlay. This minimal seam construction isn't just for aesthetics; it ensures lasting durability and protection. The triple-stitched Norwegian welt is a defining Meindl hallmark - sturdy, resolute, and made to be resoled again and again. Inside, a full leather lining paired with the Air-Active® Soft Print Drysole provides comfort that adapts over time, forming to your foot like a custom fit. Beneath, the Vibram® Montagna sole delivers time-tested reliability, while the D-rated midsole offers the stiffness of a true alpine boot - classic in design, uncompromising in performance. At 8.5" tall and uninsulated, the Super Perfekt isn't built for trends. It's built the Meindl way: with care, skill, and with the kind of enduring quality you don't see every day. Made with pride. Worn with purpose. Made in Germany
No intentionally added PFAS chemicals.
At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
