"Consider these your daily drivers. Whether you’re working around the yard or heading out for a hike, you can depend on them for a comfortable fit and casual appearance. Plus, they deliver on the trail as well, with flexible insoles and roomy toe box that doesn’t bind or bunch your feet heading uphill or down."

Having turned 70 this year, and having done plenty of hiking all over the country and beyond, I decided, no matter what the cost, that I was going to find a boot, that would actually fit me correctly and feel good. This Comfort Fit Light Hiker is a solid piece of workmanship that should last me for the next decade and beyond, here in the Blue Ridge Mtns. of Virginia, and a planned trip to the Dolomites next year. If you have trouble with getting a wide toe box (EE) in a hiking boot, Meindl is the one. With their online foot measuring system along with the confirmation of the staff, this boot, I can honestly say, fits perfectly. Try this company, you will never buy another boot from someone else!
Just what I've been looking for
I’ve worn Meindl boots for 30 years and have never had a bad pair. They fit my feet great and have always been very comfortable with minimal break in time. I recommend them highly and would never buy any other brand .
I have owned 6 pairs of Meindl boots and shoes.
I am still using 5 pair of them. This time frame covers 20 years.
They are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned.
They look good and are very durable.
I am thinking about buying another pair of boots. If I do, they will be Meindls.
I hike 750- 1000 miles a year so I buy a new pair every year. With each new pair my feet feel like they have come home again!

At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
