These are the perfect insulated hunting boots to get you through the entire season, from opening day all the way to that first winter blizzard. The mid-height nubuck uppers provide plenty of ankle support for packing heavy loads, yet still flex with each step. Gore-Tex lined for 100% waterproof protection. Built on the Comfort Fit last, these boots have more room in the toebox, and cup the heels snugly for a near-custom fit and feel. Meindl’s exclusive cork footbeds mold to the hunter’s feet for custom support. Inside, 400 grams of insulation wards off the chill. Vibram designed all-new, proprietary Multigrip 6.0 outsoles with aggressive, terrain-grabbing tread and improved lug design that keeps you upright on difficult descents. Also available in an uninsulated model. Made in Germany
Made with PFAS chemicals

"If you’ve got a pocket full of tags, you’d be hard pressed to find a better boot for all your autumn endeavors. From stalking elk and muleys in the aspens to crossing sage flats in search of antelope, the Comfort Fit Hunters will keep you going day after day until that last license is punched. True workhorses, they’re likely to become your favorite pair of footwear no matter the season."

So far extremely satisfied, just breaking in around the house. Heading to Texas pig hunting, update the boot when I get back.
The Comfort Fit Hunter 400 is exactly why it is named-excellent comfort, and great support. I haven't worn them a lot so far due the lack of snow, but I know this is definitely going to be my go to hunting boots. The only thing I wish the boots had are longer shoe laces, and I actually had to go up a size because they were insulted. I have bought the lite weight hiker non-insulated always at a size 13 that fits perfectly, but had to exchange for a 14 in the comfort 400. I like the boots so well I ordered my wife a pair for Christmas.
This is the 6th pair of Meindl boots I've purchased.
I have 3 pairs I currently wear, and I've bought the Vacuum hiker for my wife and this pair of Comfot Fit for my son.
We couldn't be happier with the quality.
Tried a competitors brand and paid over $100 more, tore my feet up! returned them and went back to Meindl (still trying to figure out why i left Meindl in the first place) strapped them up, hunted 6 days straight covering 6-10 miles per day in 18" of snow in the remote woods of the NY Adirondack Mountains. These boots very simply...PERFORMED!! Best boot on the market, by fay. A Meindl Customer for life!
I recently ordered my second pair. The first pair have been on hunts in probably 15 states and two different continents. Its was definitely time to sadly retire them. Tripp

At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
