That heritage goes into every pair of footwear they make, including these casual walkers. Full grain waxed nubuck leather uppers are backed by 100% waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex. Built around the Comfort Fit concept for a roomy, heel-hugging fit complete with a custom-like cork insole. Meindl Multigrip outsoles are grippy enough for the trail, but cushion against concrete just as well. Also available in a women's style Lady Comfort Fit® Siena Walker. Made in Italy.

Sizing Guidelines
If your daily hikes take you up the trail or just down the block to the corner coffee shop, these casual walkers are for you. They’re equally at home in both environments, with the cushioning combination of Multigrip outsole, Comfort Fit insole and shock-absorbing Poron pads in between. Oh, and they’re completely waterproof too, so no worries about wet feet.

I had previously purchased a pair of Meindl hiking boots and decided to try the Comfort Fit Walker. They are absolutely the best shoes I have ever owned. Make sure you use the downloadable Brannock device to get the proper size.

Everyone has a brand that fits them, mine is Meindl, but it wouldn't be my brand if it weren't made better. I tend to wear out the heal liner on hiking/walking shoes, these are leather. I need a solid foot bed for orthotic insoles and good side supports, I get both from these shoes. They are waterproof but breathable and tough enough for actual outdoor use. I don't buy shoes and boots so people think I spend my time outdoors, I spend my time outdoors and buy shoes and boots that can handle years of that type of use. My Comfort Fit Hikers took me to Mongolia last year and convinced me that I should buy my walking/light hiking shoe from Meindl. I thought about rating them 4 stars because I need a higher arch, but I get that everyone doesn't need a high arched shoe.
