The 7.5-inch Alpine 4.1 hiking boot designed for the untamed beauty of the backcountry. With every stitch echoing the spirit of the Alps, these hiking boots embody our relentless trails. Built with Meindl's exclusive Air Revolution® technology, these hiking boots ensure a climate-controlled environment for your feet allowing warm air to leave the boot while letting cool air in keeping you comfortable in a wider range of temperatures. The waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® liner complements the Air Revolution® technology, keeping your feet dry in the face of rain, snow, or dew. Meanwhile our Air-Active insole actively manages moisture, wicking away perspiration while distributing your weight across the entire foot, helping eliminate hotspots and sore feet. Rated B/C on our Flex-Use Rating System, these hiking boots offer the stability and support needed for carrying heavy loads over challenging terrain. Our Vibram® Multigriff 3 outsoles provide a stable, sure-footed platform in a variety of backcountry landscapes.     Really nice hikers

    I only have about 10 miles on these, but I am very impressed/happy with them so far. My old hikers were Crispi Thors, so my comparison is against them. They have been my all time favorite boots, so these have a lot to live up to.

    They are a little heavier than the thors, and slightly less stiff. This is not a bad thing because I can feel sticks through the sole, which is great when I’m hunting and don’t want to snap twigs when I step down.

    I wore these in some absolutely soaking wet grass/ rain for several miles and had zero water intrusion. These are quieter than the Thors. They always squeaked and these do not.

    I had to go a full size down from my usual footwear size. I also have some vakuum hunters and going down a half size, as recommended, did not fit tight enough. So a full size was the way to go, for me.

    The traction of these boots is amazing. It’s s like I’m glued to the terrain. Plenty of room in the toe box on steep descent. Overall great boots and if they hold up like my old crispis, I will be absolutely tickled.

    Meindl has the best boot on the planet! I just bought the 7th or 8th pair I have owned. Fit is perfect right out of the box (read their sizing guide). Any boot that can survive 60-80 miles in the AZ desert has to be tough! Great ankle support, waterproof and built for the toughest terrain you can find!

    My new favorite

    I’ve been trying to find a boot for the mountains that fit my flintstone feet for years. I’ve tried Lowa, Zamberlan and Crispi. These boots just felt so much better from the start. Aside from the boots, the customer service team is awesome. They responded to an email that I sent with a phone call. That never happens in today’s automated world. Excellent product, excellent service and fast shipping. They check every box.

    Love these boots

    Wear them every day for work. Out the box comfort and all day breathability. Keeps my feet cool and comfortable all day. Second pair and loving them.
