Meindl Memory Foam System (MFS®)
When someone thinks of Meindl, the first words that come to mind are tradition, quality, and innovation. Meindl quality is not something that came about overnight — it came through 300+ years of hard work, premium materials, and relentless refinement. To remain a staple in the footwear industry for three centuries, you must build boots that stand the test of time while staying ahead of it.
One of those game-changing technologies is Meindl’s Memory Foam System (MFS®). The goal is simple: build boots that provide an unmatched combination of comfort and support for your feet, no matter the adventure.

How MFS® Works
MFS® combines a stable outer boot (leather) with Meindl’s patented memory foam padding throughout the inside — extending from the cuff, down the tongue, around the ankle, and through to the ball of your foot. The specially developed foam padding begins to take shape as soon as body temperature rises, adapting to the exact shape of your feet. This custom-like fit limits fatigue on your feet and joints, letting you take that extra mile in comfort.

Meindl Air Active Insoles
Complementing the MFS® foam are Meindl’s Air Active insoles. A generous 3mm layer of memory foam just beneath the top fleece layer adjusts to your feet based on shape and body temperature, creating a perfect custom fit every time you put your boots on. The memory foam also distributes weight evenly, providing natural shock absorption to prevent fatigue.
The robust upper layer with integrated fleece absorbs moisture from your feet and transfers it out. The proprietary Vildona® dry sole absorbs moisture and transports it away from your skin, keeping your feet drier, cooler, and helping avoid hotspots and blisters.
From the top of the cuff to the bottom of the boot, with Meindl’s MFS® collection you’ll get a perfect custom-like feel every time you hit the trail.
