Meindl Memory Foam System (MFS®)

When it comes to developing footwear concepts and technologies Meindl has been doing it for years. Another one of those game-changing technologies is their Memory Foam System (MFS®). No matter the adventure you are going on, big or small, the Meindl goal is simple, build boots that provide an unmatched combination of comfort and support for your feet.

MFS® is a concept that is designed around providing your feet with the perfect, systematic fit while also providing you the additional support your feet and ankles need no matter the terrain. The basic idea is to combine a stable outer boot (Leather) with their patented MFS® foam padding creating an adaptable inner boot throughout the inside. The foam goes throughout the entire boot - extending from the cuff, down the tongue, around the ankle, and through to the ball of your foot.

The specially developed foam padding begins to take shape as soon as the body temperature begins to rise. The MFS® will adapt as needed to the temperature and exact shape of your feet. By adapting to the body temperature it offers the superior comfort where needed as well as providing your feet with that added support and custom fit for your unique foot shape. This helps limit fatigue on your feet and joints allowing you to take that extra mile in comfort.

Complementing the specially formed MFS® through the boots are Meindl's Air Active insoles.

These insoles come with a generous 3mm layer of memory foam just beneath the top fleece layer. This allows the insole to adjust to your feet based off shape and body temperature creating the perfect custom fit every time you put your boots on. In addition, the memory foam distributes the weight evenly providing a natural shock absorption to help prevent fatigue from setting in. The robust and absorbent upper layer with integrated fleece absorbs moisture from your feet and transfers that moisture out. The proprietary Vildona® dry sole absorbs the moisture and transports it away from your skin and socks allowing your feet to stay drier, cooler and helps avoid hotspots/blisters.
