"Whether you are going hiking or just walking through the park this all-purpose light hiking boots are perfect for you. The Air-Active Insoles provide the comfort your feet need along with being waterproof for any rugged conditions you may face."
Very sturdy and comfortable light boot that looks and feels like quality. Time will tell but, I expect long life and many hikes with these boots.
I work outside and this boot is light but holds up extremely well under brutal conditions. Feet never get wet and you can wipe them off with a wet cloth and they look new again. Very comfortable.
These boots are as advertised, so I bought a second pair.
Can’t emphasize enough as to how good these boots are. I’ve been surveying land in them for about 2 months now and have held up incredibly well under very tough conditions. Been on hot fresh paved roads for the past week and the adhesives used have not given an inch, whereas boots from other brands would have busted at this point. Tremendous boots, will be buying Meindls again in the future.
Great fit and comfort
We want your Meindl footwear to not only fit your feet but also your outdoor lifestyle. No matter where you are or what you are exploring, it is critical your footwear fits properly. Our boots and shoes are constructed using different manufacturing techniques and different lasts (forms) which helps us tailor our boots and shoes to excel in different environments.
The construction technique and last we select to build each style can make that particular boot or shoe fit differently, even within our own line of products, which is why it is important for you to follow our fitting guidelines to get you into the correct size.Because the last and the manufacturing technique we use can change the way our footwear fits, Meindl USA gives guidance for proper fitting on each style we sell. All of our sizing recommendations are based off the Brannock measuring device, which is why it is critical to have your foot measured using that device.
We collectively have decades of experience fitting Meindl footwear to the person and activity, so our fitting guidelines come with the knowledge needed to ensure you get the correct fit.At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That is why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best methods of care to make sure your boots continue to perform at their peak and last for years to come.
All Meindl Boots come out of the factory treated and ready for you to get out. However, if you want to ensure the boots are in peak condition from the moment you hit the field you can give them a quick treatment with our Meindl Wet Proof and let that sit for 24 hours and then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. Doing so can cause it to penetrate too deep and impair the leather’s breathability and wearing comfort. DO NOT apply oils or grease on any of our boots. There are two reasons: First, oil and grease products can cause boots to lose strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will migrate throughout the leather which can cause the rand and outsoles to delaminate from the boot.
Quality boots deserve care and attention. Read our full article to learn how to maintain your Meindl boots from beginning to end.
